أن تتزامن أعياد ميلاد نبي المسيحيين ونبي الإسلام له أكثر من رمزية في ظل الصراعات والحروب التي تعيشها منطقة شرق المتوسط والتي أصبحت شظاياها تغطي مناطق جغرافية أكبر بل وتؤثر سياسيا على العالم بأسره.

صراع وجود يخوضه الشعب الفلسطيني منذ أن استبيحت أرضه …صراع سياسي استغل فيه الدين استغلالا بشعا لخدمة أغراض قوى ومصالح خارجية.
استغلت الديانة اليهودية ووظفت بخبث واضح من أجل استنبات الحقد والبغض والكراهية وسط شعب استأنس واعتاد التعايش بين مختلف مكوناته الدينية.
مناسبة هذا التزامن في أعياد الميلاد هي فرصة للتأكيد على قدرة الشعب الفلسطيني على أن معركته هي معركة سياسية بالأساس. ..معركة تمتح من قيم التسامح المتجدر في هذه الأرض والذي يرفض الظلم وإهدار الكرامة.
